This 8.5 x 11 black-and-white chart of Rhythmic Figures shows the basic rhythmic figures first used in the Introduction to Music, Part I. You may want to laminate the chart to make it sturdy and convenient for students to find and use. You may also consider printing the Chart of Rhythmic Figures for Part II of the Introduction to Music on the back of this sheet for future use. You will find Chart One on page 8 of the Introduction to Music. These charts help develop reliable reading comprehension for students of all ages. They are essential to our goals for Positive Pedagogy (giving lessons that do not require any corrections).
